Step 1: Scan the word list
Start with one word, preferably a longer word with distinctive letters. Long words are often easier to spot than short ones.
Step 2: Find a strong starting letter
Look for the first or last letter of that word in the grid. If the word is BRIDGE, both B and E are good anchors.
Step 3: Check straight lines
From the anchor, scan horizontally, vertically, and diagonally. The letters must continue in one straight line.
Step 4: Trace the full word
Drag directly from one end of the word to the other. Release when the whole word is covered.
Step 5: Zoom or pan when needed
The board auto-fits when it loads. Use the mouse wheel or trackpad to zoom, and use pinch gestures on touch screens to zoom and reposition the board.
Step 6: Finish the list
Found words stay highlighted, so keep working through the remaining list until every word is complete.
