Our Commitment
FunFunGames is working toward conformance with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. We aim to make the app usable with a variety of assistive technologies and input methods, including keyboard, switch devices, screen readers, and high‑contrast settings. We also treat visual comfort for people with low vision or color-vision differences as a core part of game quality.
Current Accessibility Features
- Readable visuals: High‑contrast color palette and font sizes tuned for legibility in light and dark modes.
- Color is not the only signal: Important game states should use labels, icons, borders, shapes, or placement in addition to color.
- Keyboard navigation: Most interactive elements are reachable/focusable; game boards are being enhanced for consistent, logical tab order.
- Screen reader support: Descriptive labels and roles on key UI elements, with ongoing improvements to live regions and game status announcements.
- Reduced motion friendly: We respect the user’s reduced‑motion setting where applicable.
- Responsive layout: Pages adapt to different screen sizes and orientations.
In Progress / Roadmap
- Enhanced keyboard shortcuts for game actions.
- Clearer focus styling and skip links where beneficial.
- Color-vision review of board, card, tile, button, and status states.
- High-contrast and vision-comfort theme options.
- More robust ARIA live announcements for in‑game events.
- Options to adjust board and button sizes.
- Localization and right‑to‑left language support.
Known Limitations
- Some games may not yet have full keyboard parity with mouse/touch input. We’re actively improving focus order and control mapping.
- Live status updates (e.g., move confirmations) are being refined for clearer announcements in screen readers.
- Some older themes and game states may still rely too heavily on color. We are redesigning these states to include shape, border, label, or icon cues.
- Older mobile browsers may render subtle layout differences. We’re testing and patching progressively.
