Fun Fun Games is owned and operated by EFX Technical Solutions LLC (efxtech.com).
You can play without creating an account. We use privacy-first defaults and only collect account or contact information when you choose to sign in, contact us, purchase a subscription, or subscribe to updates.
Gameplay Data We Collect
To operate gameplay and improve quality, we collect first-party telemetry such as game ID, puzzle ID, difficulty, session timestamps, outcome metrics, and selected game events (for example moves, restarts, and win/loss outcomes).
Word Champ keeps daily and practice results separately, including the target word, play style, difficulty, and whether an answer was correct, skipped, or incorrect. We retain a submitted spelling only when it matches a known misspelling of the target word. Other entries may appear briefly in your correction animation, but their text is not saved in your game history. This history helps us provide personal and combined spelling statistics.
We store an anonymous temporary identifier in cookies/local storage so we can keep your progress and stats on the same browser/device. This identifier is not your real name or email.
If you sign in, we may link anonymous gameplay history to your account identifier to provide cross-device continuity.
OAuth Account Data
If you sign in with Google, Microsoft, or Apple, we receive the provider subject identifier and may receive your email and display name (depending on provider response and your permissions). We use this data to authenticate your account, link identities across devices, and protect account integrity.
We do not receive your provider password. OAuth providers have their own privacy terms and controls.
Subscriptions and Payments
We use RevenueCat to validate purchases, restore access, and understand subscription activity. RevenueCat receives an app or account identifier and purchase history, including the product, subscription status, and expiration information. When you sign in, that identifier links subscription access to your FFG account.
Apple processes App Store payments. Website payments, where available, are processed through RevenueCat and Stripe. Payment providers handle payment details and may retain transaction records under their own policies. Our game servers do not store your full payment-card number. The app stores a limited subscription-status record on your device to support eligible offline play. Account credentials are kept in secure device storage; your Apple password is never sent to Fun Fun Games.
Your Account Controls
Use the controls in your player account area, or contact us, to request access to or deletion of your account data. Deletion can take time while connected services process the request. A pending request is not a confirmation that all data has been erased. Deleting an FFG account does not cancel a paid subscription; manage cancellation with the provider that bills you.
Retention
Anonymous gameplay and account records are retained as needed to operate the service, prevent abuse, and maintain reliability. If you delete your account, active account profile fields and provider links are removed through the deletion process. Operational logs and backups may retain limited records for a period required for security and recovery.
Saved Games on Shared Devices
Saved boards, preferences, and pending results may be stored on your device. Older browser saves may not identify an account owner. We preserve those unidentified saves during account cleanup to avoid erasing another player’s games. In My Stats, the separate saved-board control can erase all boards in that browser after confirmation. Deletion of shared images can take additional time because uploads may still be in progress and cached copies may remain temporarily. Copies saved by other people are outside our control.
Cookies and Similar Storage
We use cookies/local storage for essential gameplay functions (session continuity, game preferences, and anonymous progress tracking). If you clear browser storage, anonymous progress may be lost.
Analytics & Ads: We may use third-party analytics or advertising tools (such as Google Analytics or AdSense) to understand how our games are used and to support Fun Fun Games. These tools may use cookies or similar technologies to collect non-personal usage data.
Newsletter Subscribers: If you sign up for our email list, we collect your email address (and optionally your first name) to send you updates and game news. We never sell or share your email, and you can unsubscribe at any time. We use Kit.com to manage subscriptions and send emails.
When you subscribe, you may be redirected to a welcome page with your first name in the address bar for personalization. We do not display or share your email address publicly, and these parameters are not stored by us.
Contact Information: If you contact us, we will only use your email to respond to your inquiry and will not share it with third parties.
Legal Basis and Use: We process gameplay/session/account data for service operation, account security, fraud/abuse protection, diagnostics, and product improvement.
Children’s Privacy: Fun Fun Games is not intended for children under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you are under 16, please do not use this service or submit any personal information.
