The Goal
Clear the 18 peak cards before the draw pile runs out. The three covered cards at the top are the top peaks. Clear those top cards to finish the peak goal.
18 cards
Yellow cards are playable. Covered cards open after the exposed cards below them are cleared.
The Main Rule
Look at the current card. You may clear an exposed peak card if it is exactly one rank lower or one rank higher.
Example: if the current card is a 6, you can play a 5 or a 7. Suit and color do not matter.
One rank lower or one rank higher.
Aces and Kings Wrap
Ace and King connect. If the current card is an Ace, you can play a King or a 2. If the current card is a King, you can play a Queen or an Ace.
When to Draw
If no exposed card matches, draw from the draw pile. The drawn card becomes the new current card. Drawing resets the current streak, so it is usually better to play matching cards first.
Draw when no exposed card is one rank away. Drawing resets the streak.
Spark clears any exposed card once. Use it when it opens a covered card or saves a strong streak.
How Spark Works
Spark is a one-use helper. Tap Spark, then tap any exposed card to clear it. Use it when you are stuck, when it uncovers a hidden card, or when it saves a strong streak.
Spark is powerful, but you only get one in a round.
Covered Cards
Covered cards cannot be played yet. Clear both exposed cards beneath a covered card, and that covered card flips open. Revealing cards is how you create new choices.
The strongest moves are often the ones that uncover a hidden card, because each reveal creates new choices.
Scoring
- Every cleared card scores points.
- Longer streaks earn bigger bonuses.
- Clearing a top peak gives an extra bonus.
- Using Spark adds a Spark bonus, but it also spends your only Spark.
